6-9 x 2-3.5 cm; oblong-elliptic or sometimes oboval-elliptic; chartaceous; base cuneate, apex caudate; margin entire or slightly crenate near apex; 7-8 glabrescent vein pairs, slightly prominent beneath; petiole slender, hairless, 1-2 cm;

April-May;

acorn 2 cm long, 1.5 cm wide; ellipsoid; singly or paired; velutinous at least near rounded apex; enclosed 1/3 or 1/2 by cup; cup pubescent both inside and outside, 1.6 cm long, 1.8 cm wide, very thin, with 7-8 concentric rings denticulate near base; scar 5 mm wide; stylopodium persistent; matures in 1 year;

mixed forests in mountain;
